Challenge 2 – Programming

Challenge 2 is live on the Arch Digital Leader blog and the theme this half term is Programming.

Bronze 

  • Help other classes/children develop programming skills- ask members of staff to help set up lessons and help with troubleshooting issues.

Silver

  • Help teachers and children with their programming needs – facilitate alongside class teacher teaching programming – possibly work with specific groups.

Gold     

  • Silver criteria +
  • Staff meeting/ Governors drop in session to learn how to use scratch and the benefits of programming – exposing the evolving world of the latest technology and how programming feeds this.

I think we can complete gold by the year 6’s completing a staff meeting talking about what we have been up to

I would like to achieve the gold rank but I would still be happy with silver. I aim to do this by helping KS1 classes in their ICT lessons. Helping an adult with ICT could be helping a teacher or helping operate the computer during an assembly.

I would like to achieve gold criteria by helping other children and teaches with there ICT. This could be by helping a teacher a student.

I think we can complete bronze by helping ks1 mainly with there technical problems
